Generalidades<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>No hay ciudades ni poblaci\u00f3n permanente, solo bases cient\u00edficas.<\/li>\n<li>La poblaci\u00f3n var\u00eda seg\u00fan la estaci\u00f3n del a\u00f1o:<\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Verano austral (noviembre-marzo): ~5.000 personas.<\/li>\n<li>Invierno austral (abril-octubre): ~1.000 personas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Administradas por los pa\u00edses firmantes del Tratado Ant\u00e1rtico (1959).<\/li>\n<li>Realizan estudios sobre climatolog\u00eda, glaciolog\u00eda, geolog\u00eda, astronom\u00eda, biolog\u00eda y cambio clim\u00e1tico.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2. Principales estaciones por pa\u00eds<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Argentina<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Base Marambio (Isla Seymour, una de las m\u00e1s importantes en log\u00edstica a\u00e9rea).<\/li>\n<li>Base Esperanza (con presencia de familias y escuela).<\/li>\n<li>Base Belgrano II (la m\u00e1s austral de Argentina).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure id=\"attachment_9629\" (c\u00e9lebre por el r\u00e9cord mundial de fr\u00edo \u201389,2 \u00b0C y el lago subglacial Vostok).<\/li>\n<li>Bellingshausen (Isla Rey Jorge).<\/li>\n<li>Novolaz\u00e1revskaya (costa de la Reina Ongul).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>China<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Zhongshan (en la costa de la Reina Maud).<\/li>\n<li>Kunlun (en el Domo A, uno de los lugares m\u00e1s remotos y fr\u00edos).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Alemania<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Neumayer III (estaci\u00f3n modular en la plataforma de hielo Ekstr\u00f6m).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>3. Zonas de concentraci\u00f3n de bases<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Isla Rey Jorge (archipi\u00e9lago de las Shetland del Sur): lugar con mayor densidad de estaciones (Chile, Argentina, Rusia, China, Corea del Sur, Uruguay, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Pen\u00ednsula Ant\u00e1rtica: clima m\u00e1s templado, accesible, con numerosas bases.<\/li>\n<li>Interior ant\u00e1rtico: pocas estaciones (Amundsen-Scott, Vostok, Concordia, Dome Fuji), enfocadas en meteorolog\u00eda, glaciolog\u00eda y astronom\u00eda.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Existen en total m\u00e1s de 70 estaciones operativas, aunque no todas funcionan todo el a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mapa de las estaciones de investigaci\u00f3n en la Ant\u00e1rtida (formato PDF).
