Se form\u00f3 a partir de la colisi\u00f3n y acreci\u00f3n de numerosos bloques continentales y microplacas, y hoy es escenario de algunas de las interacciones tect\u00f3nicas m\u00e1s activas del planeta.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principales rasgos geol\u00f3gicos de Eurasia<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Escudos y cratones antiguos<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Escudo B\u00e1ltico (Fennoscandia): uno de los fragmentos m\u00e1s antiguos, con rocas prec\u00e1mbricas.<\/li>\n<li>Cr\u00e1ton Siberiano: abarca gran parte del norte de Asia, con rocas arcaicas y proterozoicas.<\/li>\n<li>Cr\u00e1ton Indio y crat\u00f3n \u00c1rabe: masas continentales estables que colisionaron con Eurasia en tiempos geol\u00f3gicos recientes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2. Cinturones orog\u00e9nicos<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cadenas herc\u00ednicas y caled\u00f3nicas: formadas en el Paleozoico, visibles en Europa Central, Escocia, Escandinavia y Rusia europea.<\/li>\n<li>Orogenia alpina: resultado de la colisi\u00f3n de \u00c1frica, India y Arabia con Eurasia. Incluye:<\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Alpes, C\u00e1rpatos, Pirineos en Europa.<\/li>\n<li>C\u00e1ucaso, Zagros, Elburz, Hindu Kush, Himalaya en Asia.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Estas cordilleras siguen siendo tect\u00f3nicamente activas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>3. Grandes llanuras y cuencas sedimentarias<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Llanura de Europa Oriental: con sedimentos paleozoicos y mesozoicos.<\/p>\n<p>Llanura Siberiana Occidental: enorme cuenca rellena de sedimentos mesozoicos y cenozoicos.<\/p>\n<p>Mesopotamia y cuencas del Caspio y Aral: asociadas a subsidencia tect\u00f3nica.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Regiones volc\u00e1nicas y tect\u00f3nicamente activas<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cintur\u00f3n de fuego del Pac\u00edfico: afecta al este de Eurasia (Jap\u00f3n, Kamchatka, Filipinas, Indonesia).<\/li>\n<li>Cintur\u00f3n Alpino-Himalayo: volcanismo asociado a la subducci\u00f3n de placas bajo Eurasia.<\/li>\n<li>Islas volc\u00e1nicas y arcos oce\u00e1nicos: Jap\u00f3n, Filipinas, Indonesia.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>5. Glaciaciones y modelado reciente<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Durante el Pleistoceno, el norte de Europa y Siberia estuvieron cubiertos por extensos glaciares, dejando morrenas y llanuras glaciares.<\/li>\n<li>En el Himalaya y Asia Central persisten glaciares de alta monta\u00f1a.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Placas tect\u00f3nicas implicadas en Eurasia<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Placa Euroasi\u00e1tica: cubre la mayor parte de Europa y Asia (excepto India, Arabia y algunas microplacas).<\/li>\n<li>Placa India: en colisi\u00f3n con Eurasia, generando el Himalaya y el T\u00edbet.<\/li>\n<li>Placa Ar\u00e1biga: empujando hacia el norte contra Turqu\u00eda e Ir\u00e1n.<\/li>\n<li>Placa Pac\u00edfica y Filipina: subduci\u00e9ndose bajo Jap\u00f3n y el sudeste asi\u00e1tico.<\/li>\n<li>Placa Africana: contribuye a la orogenia alpina en el Mediterr\u00e1neo.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>En resumen:<\/strong><br \/>\nEurasia es una mosaico geol\u00f3gico donde conviven escudos muy antiguos y estables, vastas llanuras sedimentarias, y cordilleras j\u00f3venes y activas producto de colisiones continentales y subducciones.
